To the Central Alabama Emmaus and Chrysalis
Community:
Words seem so very inadequate to express my sincere appreciation
for all of the prayers and gifts of service and agape. Walk 52 could not have been as special as it
was without your willingness to serve and support His efforts. Among so many things a Walk to Emmaus does
for all of us, it clearly gives us a glimpse at the Body of Christ and how important
each of us are to Him as we strive to be His Hands and Feet. Lives were
changed and friendships were made and strengthened. Friendships that will last
an eternity. I know that there is true Joy in giving and serving and all of you
were Bright Lights in the harbor that was Walk 52. Each of us on Walk 52 felt your prayers and experienced His Love
through you. Thank You for giving to The Lord. May the Good Lord continue to richly bless you and yours for all
that you do for Him and His Children.
The Apostle Paul best summarized my thoughts: "We always thank God for all of you, mentioning
you in our prayers. We continually remember before our God and Father your
work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance
inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ."(1Thessalonians 1: 2-3)
"He can do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine
through His power that is at work within us." (Paraphrase of Ephesians 3:20-21)
"A happy heart is like good medicine" (Proverbs 17:22)
